Printable Coupons: Do Coupons Have to Be Printable to Work?

Printable coupons make it easier for you to shop for your favorite things at decent prices, and it saves paper, which is eco-friendly and helps you keep less clutter in your home. Sometimes printable coupons are better than paper coupons because they may offer lower prices on certain items. Printable coupons also save you time because you don’t have to search through tons of paper coupons daily or weekly. The company will e-mail the coupons and they may categorize your coupons by brand name or your most favorite products.

With this said, coupons don’t have to be printable to work because paper and computer-based coupons both save you money and you still need to take the same precautions with printable coupons as with traditional coupons. For example, both traditional and printable coupons should be examined for fraud because some coupon websites produce coupons with fake discounts and expiration dates. If you’re suspicious about a certain coupon website, you need to check with a local consumer advocacy group or the Better Business Bureau to find out if the company engaged in unethical practices. Also beware of coupon websites with excessive testimonials because they distract you from what the company really offers.

Here is something else printable and traditional coupons have in common; they’re both heavily utilized by manufacturers and local stores. In addition, you can even combine these coupons for increased savings. Recently I had a few printable coupons from Kroger’s but I also had traditional manufacturers’ coupons for items that were on sale at Kroger’s. So I used both of these and altogether my grocery bill went from $125.00 to $45.00.
